1. Turn on alerts for your property, through your attorney, the county, or a 3rd party, makes sure you are notified if there is any changes to title or any liens put on your property.
2. Make sure when you purchase, you have the proper title insurance.
3. Move the deed of your property into a trust or land trust, making it much more difficult for a fraudulent conveyance.
